Solutions
American Droid is a robotics engineering and development firm dedicated to advancing military and public service missions.
Who We Serve, What We Build
Built for America’s Mission Operators
We are building robotics for the operators who keep our country safe, moving, and resilient—not for consumer convenience. American Droid builds niche, mission-first robotic technologies for federal government and military customers and use cases, where strength, precision, ruggedness, and reliability are non-negotiable.
Robotics Design, Engineering and Production/ Manufacturing
American Droid offers end-to-end robotics engineering, software, and production services and capabilities — from early research and development, through robotics engineering, to rugged, deployable systems. We design, develop, engineer, manufacture, and integrate robotic systems, software, products, and platforms for defense, public service, and civilian applications.
We design, build, and deploy custom robotic capabilities and products through:
- Research, Development, Testing of New Robotic Products and Capabilities
- Mechanical Drafting & Design
- 3-D Printing and Rapid Prototyping
- Prototyping & Fabrication
- Motion Control Systems
- Electrical & System Integration
- Teleoperation & Autonomy Enablement
- Software Development and Integration
- Testing and Transition to Production
- Deployment and Operational Implementation
- Custom Manufacturing of Robotic Platforms and Components

First, We Are Mastering the Hand, Then the Rest
We’re tackling one of the hardest problems in robotics first: human-level manipulation.
Robots become truly useful only when they can confidently grasp, hold, and operate tools and systems critical to mission success. Unlike many consumer applications, where “good enough” manipulation may suffice, we focus on grip strength, precision, independent joint control, and high-skill capabilities — essential for military, defense, and federal operator missions.
By mastering controllable robotic manipulation for public service and defense, we’re laying the foundation for a new generation of mission-ready robotic systems — designed, built, and supported in the United States.
